OPENING NIGHT
26 AUGUST

Composed by Gioachino Rossini.

Conducted by Sándor Károlyi with the Orchestra Senzaspine.

Directed by Jean-Romain Vesperini.

Rossini’s jubilant adaptation of Charles Perrault’s Cinderella fairy tale is indisputably one of his most beautiful and comic of operas. What better place for Prince Charming and true love to find our Cenerentola than on a summer’s evening at the Palazzo Pitti and Boboli Gardens in Florence.
