    La Cenerentolina

    27 & 28 August | 19:30 - 20:30

La Cenerentolina - we've made this wonderful opera accessible for children and families and it's a great opportunity to introduce young ones to the world of lyric opera and to this, one of the wittiest and best of Rossini's works. Even those who don't know the opera will be able to follow the story and absorb the enchanting music. It's a concentrated version and packed full of magic and our amazing singers will bring the story to life in the beautiful gardens of the Palazzo Corsini al Prato using the unique features of the loggia. A splendid opera in a stunning setting. It's an opportunity not to be missed for the families of Florence. Rossini's Cenerentola offers "respect, love and goodness" and we hope our version will find a suitable marriage with your expectations for a show that will thrill you and fill your heart.

BABAL - A short film by Teodora Pampaloni

    27 & 28 August | 21:30

“Where words fail, music speaks.” ― Heinrich Heine

In times of closed mouths and social distance, Teodora Pampaloni represents the vexata quaestio of anthropologists and linguists: do words help us communicate or do they emphasise our differences? Humans speaking one sole language strove to reach the heavens and got punished, their Tower of Babel was destroyed and chaos prevailed, but where words fail, music speaks. This is the anthropological theme represented by Teodora Pampaloni with the collaboration of the composers Michale Nyman and Andrea Portera.
